Bad times can really wear down a person and make them feel unwanted and unloved. It can be difficult to recover from a time like that. However, with good friends we can always fix the glass that has been shattered from our past. The piece has two main sections. The beginning of the piece has a somber tone while the second section progressively translates to a much brighter and triumphant tone. The primary chord progression is i-VI7-III-iv and when the triumphant moment starts overtaking the somber sad tone, the left hand plays a low note that drones underneath the right hand playing in the upper register. The iv chord is then substituted with a IV chord which completely changes the tone of the piece.
