Hypnotic Crystals combines different time signatures while also giving each performer their own unique line!  The name comes from different sounding patterns which occur along with the metallic nature of some of the instruments, and the hollow and wood-like sounds of others. Hypnotic Crystals was selected as a winner for the 2017 Wisconsin Alliance for Composers New Music Festival and received its international debut on September 28, 2017 being performed in

San Jose, Costa Rica. Hypnotic Crystals was commissioned by Tom Wetzel former Director of percussion at UWM, and was premiered by the UWM percussion ensemble on December 7, 2015
