When I was younger my family would go up to our cottage and spend weeks with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. While there, my cousins and I had a great time playing outside, swimming, fishing, and playing The Game of Life. Lakeside Adventures is a piece that depicts the adventures that we had while up there. The beginning section starts us off at night down by the lake, listening to the crackling of the bonfire, the howl of the wolves and the singing of the wind. The piece then increases in tempo to match the amount of fun we had venturing in the woods, jumping in the lake, or the amount sadness that happened when somebody traded their $20,000 salary card for the $100,000 salary card while playing The Game of Life.
